Our new interns

We would like to introduce to you our 2 new interns that will be part of the Wakeup Campaign team for 2013.   Name:  Dieyna Ba Degree Studied: MA Social Entrepreneurship, Goldsmiths University London Job role: Business development & sales officer Favourite musician: Erykah Badu Favourite colour: Lavender purple Favourite shape:  imperfect circle What was it about the social business, Wakeup Campaign that attracted you to the internship? I want a vocation, not alone an occupation, hence I need to work along young people that take action to co-design a human and environmental fairer society. Startups are an opportunity to learn fast, think big and innovative in the way, while making the best use of resources. Wakeup Campaign is attractive as it will involve a wide range of activities and has the ethos that supports people to flourish!   Name: Akua Ofei Degree Studied: Public Relations & Communications Job role: Press & campaigns officer Favourite musician: Can I pick a Sister Sledge/Basement Jaxx/James Brown hybrid? Favourite colour: Royal Purple Favourite shape: Square What was it about the social business, Wakeup Campaign that attracted you to the internship? Turned off by the often pretentious sometimes vacuous nature of PR for luxury goods I was intrigued by the Wakeup Campaign mission statement of changing the world through design and altering perceptions of people   A massive welcome to the team guys!
